Well, Zelda always has been for everyone really, and its not like recent games in the series have been that hard. Heck not even Ocarina of Time was that hard. Not always a cakewalk, but not very hard overall.
Which is exactly why they shouldn't need to say "this one will appeal to a broader audience". That means they changed something about a game that is already well balanced... could mean it's far too easy.

Sad truth, "broader" doesn't mean "larger". So what's the point for investors, who want "larger".
